Comments: Grimshawe's post office - known as the smallest in the United States, at six feet by five-and-a-half feet. Grimshawe's post office, however may actually be the third smallest. Ochopee, Florida claims the smallest postal staion, and Salvo in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, the second-smallest. The circa 1878 structure can be found off Whiteside Cove Road off North Carolina Highway 107 about one mile from Whiteside Cove Church. (Henderson & Flat Rock, p.105, by Terry Ruscin).
