Our hosts, Annette Anderson and her daughter Marlene Myre, planned a wonderful convention that included two great tours among the many other activities. First a bus tour of area Post Offices included Great Falls and Black Eagle, and even encountered armed guards while getting to the Post Office on Malmstrom Air Force Base. The Scenic tour of the Big Sky Country included the historic downtown, the Milwaukee Train Depot, Giant Springs State Park, Anaconda Mining Company, Black Eagle Falls, and the Charles Russell Museum (artwork displayed above).

The Best Western Heritage Inn was the site for the convention.
The hotel has an indoor courtyard decorated like a New Orleans French Quarter, where the Saturday night Banquet was held.

Cachet artwork was drawn by Sean Regimbal.

The Museum Fund Auctioneers were Albert Hornberger, Vick Steward, and Dave Proulx. Besides the normal selection of postmarks and discontinued post office (DPO) postmarks, was a selection of hyrbid flower bulbs donated by Billie Stone. Proceeds from the auction were approximately $3400.
